(P)Review : The Hobbit : Casting Speculation!

Things are finally shaping up for Guillermo del Toro's two film adaptation of The Hobbit - we should expect big casting news within the next few weeks. Casting is underway, as the script is nearing what could almost be called completion. Rumors are afloat out there in the interweb sea, and they're swirling around one actor in particular to play Bilbo, whose role was wonderfully played by Ian Holm in Peter Jackson's epic trilogy. Who, might you ask? Well, it seems that Ewan McGregor is Senor del Toro's first choice, and personally, I couldn't be happier. This is just a rumor, though, according to several reputable interweb sources, it's a damn good possibility. So let's keep our fingers crossed, fellow nerdicans! To be a Jedi and a Hobbit, that's just all sorts of awesome. Check back often! We'll be watching this one closely...

Movie Trailers and Quick Reviews

Inglorious Basterds A slow burning, savage, and darkly amusing look at WWII told in 5 chapters, through the eyes of strong characters and brutal, explosive violence. Highly Recommended for fans of Quentin Tarantino, WWII films, and pointed story telling.
